These units find application in improving power factors of industrial and other similar loads on low voltage systems in the range 380 volts to 600 volts A.C., 50Hz. There are a great variety of applications, the main amongst which are as below, |

Capacitors directly and permanently connected across motors (Where voltages are steady). |

Capacitors connected in various sections and centrally and manually operated in units or in banks. |

Capacitors connected as above, but operated automatically. |

These Capacitors are NOT recommneded, where Harmonic level is high and supply is polluted (Impure Sine Wave ) |
